solution

Find the first missing number by dividing by 10. Since 10 has 1 zero, move the decimal point 1 place to the left.

0.16724 → 0.16724

0.0016724 ÷ 10 = 0.00016724

Now find the other missing numbers. When you divide the same number by larger and larger powers of ten, the decimal point moves to the left in the quotient.

0.0016724 ÷ 100 = 0.000016724

0.0016724 ÷ 1,000 = 0.0000016724

0.0016724 ÷ 10,000 = 0.00000016724
