When you divide, move the decimal point one place to the left for each zero in the divisor.

solution

Find the first missing number by dividing by 10. Since 10 has 1 zero, move the decimal point 1 place to the left.

0.546 → 0.546

0.0546 ÷ 10 = 0.00546

Now find the other missing numbers. The decimal point moves to the right the same amount in the first number and the power of ten, so the quotient is always the same.

0.546 ÷ 100 = 0.00546

5.46 ÷ 1,000 = 0.00546

54.6 ÷ 10,000 = 0.00546
