Stage 1
Answer 4 questions correctly in a row.
This passage describes one of the wing-pattern traits in pigeons:
Domestic pigeons can have a variety of wing patterns. Pigeons with the checker pattern have many small dark squares, or
checks,
on their upper wing, and two dark bands closer to the wing tip. Pigeons with the bar pattern have dark bands but no checks on their wings. Pigeons with the barless pattern do not have any dark marks on their wings. In a group of pigeons, some individuals have the checker pattern, some have the bar pattern, and some have the barless pattern. In this group, the gene for wing pattern has three alleles. The allele for the checker pattern (B) is dominant over the other two alleles. The allele for the bar pattern (bb) is dominant over the allele for the barless pattern (b).

checker pattern
bar pattern
barless pattern
Complete the Punnett square to show all possible genotypes of the offspring from a cross between two pigeons: one with the checker pattern carrying a bar allele and one with the barless pattern.
Write the genotypes so that dominant alleles come before recessive alleles.
